STEPHAN GUTTINGER, PhD
Stephan is a philosopher of science with a background in biochemistry.
His research focuses on the epistemology and the methodology of the life sciences, with a special focus on how reliable and trustworthy data is created in the laboratory. He is also interested in the so-called "replication crisis" in science and in how a postgenomic vision of nature affects debates about genome editing.
He is a lecturer in Philosophy of Data and Data Ethics at the University of Exeter.
